Mark Valley in Vancouver

I'm sure he's been back since making Human Target, but a series of photos of him with Lisa Edelstein had me sitting up and taking notice! I guess I don't track him carefully enough or I would have known....  Apparently he's Dr. Harris Campbell in Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce.  Probably not something I'm going to see.  It doesn't sound very Chance-ish.

I keep following Mark Valley around to different shows and each time I think what idiots FOX were to cancel Human Target.

This is one of a series of photos by Vancouver photographer, Nigel Horsley. You can see more Mark Valley photos starting here.  Mr. Horsley been adding quite a few photos the last few days.  There is obviously a lot being filmed right now.

I had a comment on my video Never Gonna Leave last week.  I haven't watched my Human Target vids, or had comments on them, in ages.  Watching them again made me miss it.  It was a great show!

On a related note, I spent a few months watching Forever on ABC before I clued in that Matt Miller, the Human Target showrunner, was the producer of this new show.  I loved Forever and have a couple of fanvids on my new YouTube channel about it.  Unfortunately it has been cancelled, too.  Do you see a pattern emerging here?

Mark Valley on Body of Proof

This man is amazing. He always lands on his feet with a job.  I'm already a Body of Proof fan, so this is double icing on the cake!
Here is a new interview from Access Hollywood.  The interviewer mentions Fringe???  Hello? What about Human Target???

Season 3 of Body of Proof starts Tuesday February 5 on ABC at 10 pm.

And Janet Montgomery is now on Made in Jersey on CBS.  I haven't seen it.  I think it's the accent.....

It's Under Control - for TVRealm

The 12th Challenge over at TV Realm was to make a poster using only text, no photo. This phrase immediately came to mind.

We all know how many times Chance said this in the last few episodes...Needless to say he was never under control, so I'm not sure if he was saying that to reassure others or reassure himself. Or convince himself.

Human Target - Gren{ade} Vidlet

I've always thought this song would be perfect for Chance, but when I started looking around, the song seemed very well protected, so I abandon the idea.  That was probably almost a year ago.

With this LiveJournal TVRealm challenge, I thought I'd take a risk with this short segment of the music.  You can buy the whole thing at iTunes!

I love the twist from the last line of the song to the clip I added at the end.  She certainly does save him if he needs it.

If you are receiving this as an email update, please click on the title to view the vidlet on the blog.

Vidlet set

So one of the TV Realm challenges was the Bingo Challenge.  Oh, brother.  Choose a row and a column or diagonal.  You know.  Bingo.

So I chose the column starting with The End and the row starting with Memories.  Don't ask about the abbreviations.  I just don't even want to know!

Since I love making fanvids, I chose vidding for all of them.  Vids have to be over 10 seconds.  Not a problem. Making them shorter is a problem.  I hate cutting up the music.

The End had to be Criminal Intent, from the last scene in the series and it got long enough that it went on its own.

So far, along with The End, I've done Just Kiss The Girl (twice, once for the column and once for the row), Bliss, Shine and Dress Up.  Human Target is in Just Kiss the Girl and Dress Up.  Yes, even Guerrero dressed up in Imbroglio!  Watch out for them, that Dress Up vidlet is FAST.
Enjoy!

Icons and Badges

For this TV Realm challenge I'm doing over on LiveJournal, it appears I need team signature badges and icons!  Who knew rabid fandom came with requirements!?  Awww, darn, so boring to make these.... NOT.

I have my Criminal Minds badge and icon (made from the badge):

And my V (2009) badges: the second was made by my friend havers as an example, so I knew what I had to do! (Thanks again Antje!)

All this insanity started with Law & Order Criminal Intent and so far, I only have one icon for it! Tsk!

So here are my Human Target badges and single icon.  So far.  I really need a  Guerrero icon.  What about one of him hanging upside down (from Kill Bob)?  XD
Maybe one of him blowing up the Eldo.....

A Penny for Them

Actually, I'd probably give more than a penny to know what Chance is thinking here. This is from Imbroglio S2E9. Ilsa is not pleased to see him at the opera as she feels the pressure of her sister-in-law's visit.

This screen cap is from a clip I'm using in a vidlet set for a TV Realm Challenge which, with any luck, will be uploaded in the next day or so!  The theme for this vidlet is Dress Up and includes characters from a few different fandoms near and dear to my heart.

TV Realm Challenge on LiveJournal

I've been a member of LiveJournal for quite a long time. (You can find me as quietfireca - surprise)  I never found LiveJournal easy to use and didn't get used to it even though I have friends there.  But my friend havers who does the Lovely Kathryn blog uses it all the time and recently did a series of challenges that had her making some really fun things!  So when the latest challenge in her group came up, I thought I'd give it a try.  I thought it might be an opportunity to make a bunch of mini-vids.  (These full length vids take at least 40 hours, usually more.)

So I joined TV Realm (which is a community of other nut cases like me) and was put in the Team Chiller group.  You can see my other completed challenge on my LJ just before this Matchmaker challenge.

This was the current challenge
Ep Summary: Matchmaker, Matchmaker, make me a match! Find me a find, catch me a catch.
Basically, here is the summary:

• Ep Details: You are the matchmaker. Put two tv characters who've never met before, on a blind date. Graphically or through writing.

• Graphics: You'll need 10 images total in your picspam (or multiple mini-spams) of the TV characters you're setting up on a blind date. You decide whether you're setting up one couple together, with 5 images of each person. Or multiple matches 1-3 images each. As long as you have 10 images in your entry, you're fine.

I thought that Guerrero and Kalinda from The Good Wife would make a most interesting couple. This isn't really my "thing", but when I put the photos together I had a good chuckle! I'd like to be a fly on the wall when these two are together! They do interesting things to cars...

Irresistible?

I was curious exactly how old Mark Valley was, so I did a quick Google.  This photo came up and cracked me up!  (He was born December 24, 1964 so Happy Early Birthday, Mark!)

So if you're a drooling fan girl, enjoy this! lol! I don't drool....  Okay, possibly when he's Christopher Chance.  There are some more older photos where I found this here.

Boy, I bet this guy gets whatever he wants!

Still working on some Human Target stuff but I got sidetracked with the Criminal Minds vid I've been planning for months.  You can see it below (or if you're getting this as an email update, just click on the title and watch it on the web.)

Some Screen Caps!

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I posted...
Sometimes when I'm working on a video, I find some nice screen caps - sometimes they're just amusing.
I thought I'd share a few caps I found in The Return of Baptiste.  While you're looking at them, you can listen to this radio interview by Mark Valley.  I learn something new everytime I hear an interview - and no, I haven't heard them all.  Sigh.  He didn't even talk about HT!
Although I've recorded most of Harry's Law I haven't been keeping up with it.  I guess Oliver Richards didn't grab me fast enough...
Here is the link to that radio interview,  and here are your HT screen caps.  Just a very few from the start of the episode.

Chance's Special Talent - A Human Target Quirk

I'm pretty sure this was written for the guy viewers, but I can't help chuckle continuously when I watch this series of clips from Imbroglio, so I guess it appeals to everyone.

Thanks (I think) to writer Robert Levine for keeping a smile on my face.  Each one of the characters handles Chances "talent" in beautiful form.

If you are receiving this as an email update, please click on the title to view the mini-vid on the blog.

Embassy Row - from Bear McCreary's Point of View!

I have never gone back through Bear McCreary's blog, but this entry came up on my Google Alerts today even though the blog entry is from 2010.

This is completely amazing. I have enough music background to follow a lot of it, but a peek into the creative genius of Bear McCreary and how the music for the episode pulled together was a real treat.

This video is just a small portion of his blog entry which you can read HERE. The details of Chance's Fight/Dance Tango sequence with Agent Barnes are especially interesting!
