TV Realm Challenge on LiveJournal

I've been a member of LiveJournal for quite a long time. (You can find me as quietfireca - surprise)  I never found LiveJournal easy to use and didn't get used to it even though I have friends there.  But my friend havers who does the Lovely Kathryn blog uses it all the time and recently did a series of challenges that had her making some really fun things!  So when the latest challenge in her group came up, I thought I'd give it a try.  I thought it might be an opportunity to make a bunch of mini-vids.  (These full length vids take at least 40 hours, usually more.)

So I joined TV Realm (which is a community of other nut cases like me) and was put in the Team Chiller group.  You can see my other completed challenge on my LJ just before this Matchmaker challenge.

This was the current challenge

Ep Summary: Matchmaker, Matchmaker, make me a match! Find me a find, catch me a catch.
Basically, here is the summary:

• Ep Details: You are the matchmaker. Put two tv characters who've never met before, on a blind date. Graphically or through writing.

• Graphics: You'll need 10 images total in your picspam (or multiple mini-spams) of the TV characters you're setting up on a blind date. You decide whether you're setting up one couple together, with 5 images of each person. Or multiple matches 1-3 images each. As long as you have 10 images in your entry, you're fine.

I thought that Guerrero and Kalinda from The Good Wife would make a most interesting couple. This isn't really my "thing", but when I put the photos together I had a good chuckle! I'd like to be a fly on the wall when these two are together! They do interesting things to cars...

 

Chance's Special Talent - A Human Target Quirk

I'm pretty sure this was written for the guy viewers, but I can't help chuckle continuously when I watch this series of clips from Imbroglio, so I guess it appeals to everyone.

Thanks (I think) to writer Robert Levine for keeping a smile on my face.  Each one of the characters handles Chances "talent" in beautiful form.

This post started out as just a photo, but then I got carried away.  I rediscovered this clip when I was making Where I Go and was completely charmed.  When I re-visited the whole scene, I though it was worth sharing more than a screen cap!

That "Ilsa put you up to that?" just cracked me up.

My interpretation of this song, in the context of Human Target, reflects Chance’s conviction that no one can go where he’s been and he would never want anyone to.  Where does he “go”?  He is tortured by self-recrimination for deeds past and is endlessly searching  for redemption.  He frequently runs away from the people he cares most about fearing they will be hurt or worse.  Until Ilsa.  In the end, he keeps her from following in his footsteps….

This amazing song immediately stole my heart and I was over the moon that it was available for use with permission!

Ames. Meet Guerrero.

Now if you've watched Human Target, you don't need any introduction to Guerrero.  He's definitely a unique character and you can't help but love him (shhh, don't tell him I said that).

In no way do I condone guys hitting women, but somehow Guerrero gets a pass on this one.  Guerrero does all those things we secretly wish we could do with an evil little grin on our faces.

I thought he was rather gentlemanly for the first few seconds when Ames pleads for help to escape Winston.  That didn't last long....

So here again, we have the first meeting of the two characters with no first names.

Size Matters

One day I was curious how tall Winston was.  They all look waaaay up to him.  So I went hunting.  Chi McBride is 6' 4-1/2" according to the internet.  Um, he's tall.
I couldn't stop there, so how tall is Chance?  Mark Valley is 5' 10" 
Guerrero?  Jackie Earle Haley is recorded at 5' 5".  And I wouldn't want to mess with him no matter how tall he was.
Guerrero's sidekick Ames?  Janet Montgomery is 5' 6"

Ilsa Pucci?  Indira Varma is 5' 7".  Put her in 3" heels and she is the same height as Chance.  Perfect.  Equals.
