Location: Steveston

This wasn't too hard to figure out!
This is one of the final clips from Kill Bob, S2E11 where Chance walks back down the wharf.  You can see him in this cap if you look hard!

And this is a touristy promotional photo advertising Steveston.

Here is a map of Vancouver with locations mentioned so far - so when you visit, you'll know where to go!  ;-)

And seeing we have that established, here are a couple of caps from the episode!

Mark Valley moves to Harry's Law

It didn't take long for Mark Valley to land on his feet in another tv series. Hardly surprising!  Not sure I'll follow, though. I tried Harry's Law and it didn't take with me.  You can read more about the changes on EW.com

Mark Valley will always be Christopher Chance to me.  He was perfect.

Ilsa's Passport

I'm a little confused over this!  From Communication Breakdown, S2E8 we know that Ilsa is Irish but grew up in London.  All EC passports are red, and this is not a US passport.  So can someone enlighten me?  I'm thinking it's a creation by the props guys....

Tribute to Axed Series

I tripped across this awesome article today which gives information I didn't know about the mall shooting location (The Other Side of the Mall, S2E6) and some other fun details. The full article has photos and information about "V" as well.  Click on the article link at the bottom of this post to see more photos from the set.

#YVRShoots – Tribute to Axed Series As New TV Season Begins

POSTED July 7, 2011 BY Susan Gittins

....Next on the list of shows I wish had got another season is Human Target, also cancelled in June after two seasons on FOX. While I didn’t get to see as much of Human Target filming as V, what I did see was fun to watch because of the stunts. All three male leads — Mark Valley, Chi McBride and Jackie Earle Haley — did some of their own stunts at their big Christmas episode shoot inside the International Village (Tinseltown). I watched and photographed Valley practicing roundhouse kicks to limber up and saw Jackie Earle Haley do his own stunt-fighting. And Chi McBride, while not as athletic as his co-stars, proved no slouch either, bashing a villain extra with a Christmas bell while dressed in a boiling-hot Santa suit (a young woman kept his face cool with a portable fan between takes). Human Target saved the best for last though, filming its series finale on the roof of the Hotel Vancouver in a raging snowstorm. I asked the stunt coordinator David Chue how they achieved some of the visuals and yes, some of it was greenscreened in studio but a lot was filmed on the roof, too.
FOX cancelled Human Target with a slew of other dramas in an overnight bloodbath to make way for new series....

The Power of Ilsa Pucci

I started working on this blogpost long ago and it sort of morphed into the recent video because of the song lyrics, but it's finally time.....

The title of this post isn’t referring to Ilsa’s power because of her wealth.  It refers to the effect she manages to have on Chance.  (Guys are just going to hate hearing this stuff about Chance, but.....)

Ilsa’s mechanism for dealing with things she can’t cope with is to turn and walk away.  I recognize it, because I do it.
There is a lot Chance won’t bend for (and that’s for another blog entry), but have you ever notice how often he’ll follow her when she turns away? Lucky Ilsa, she has the power.

Some of these clips can be interpreted that he's just following her to talk to her, but there is a definite pattern.  It isn't very often that he won't follow her. The last time it takes him a few hours to get going and a prod from Winston.
Let me know if you think of other examples!

And in the very last clip, he *runs*.

Clips are from
The Return of Baptiste
The Other Side of the Mall
A Problem Like Maria
Marshall Pucci

If you are receiving this as an email update, please click on the title to view the video on the blog.

Do Chance and Ilsa sound a bit chipmunky? I've altered their pitch to help prevent YouTube blocking the video....  And sorry for the roll in some of the clip transitions.  I don't know why it does that when I don't get that happening when I make video.  ??????????????
